Sleeping Around

Are those little people keeping you up at night? They're cute, but boy do you feel like tossing them aside when their feet are wedged into your side as you try to slumber. Or not?

My twins crawled into our bed until they were 3 yrs old. I think I aged 10 yrs during that time due to lack of proper night’s sleep!

Your kids have their own beds for a reason…if you don’t get this sorted in the early days, it makes life much harder for you at the toddler stage and means your children get too many nights of disturbed sleep too. Being rigidly against co-sleeping is a win win for kids and parents.

My Toddler knows her place when it comes to sleep…exept when the hot knights come. She has her own fan but it’ not enough…I guess she thinks since she can’t sleep no one can and it’s ok th start playing…

Hilarious! My youngest (of 5) crawls into my bed, in between my husband and myself, about 50% of the time. I love cuddling with my 4 year old, but the fact that he wanders into our room so often at this point kind of bothers me. Most of the time, though, I don’t know he’s there until I wake up in the morning, so it’s not effecting my sleep.

I have to admit that I don’t LOVE cosleeping, but it was the most convenient thing for me to do with a brand new baby (both times). Having to nurse numerous times a night, I just couldn’t do the up/down thing. Plus, I couldn’t hear them. ;-) I also have to admit that over time I grew to love it. What a precious tender moment.
